Is there a comprehensive Educational Programme?

Yes, we are hoping to maintain the structure of the educational programme, with Master class sessions, workshops and the case study presentation condensed over the two days.

Do we still pay for the Master class sessions?

We are negotiating at this stage. We will not look to increase the pricing if possible.

Will there be an Awards Scheme at this year’s event?

At the moment we are intending to run the awards scheme as usual. However, we are looking at options for the Gala Awards Dinner location and date at this stage.

When will the revised floor plan be available?

We will be publishing the revised floor plan in January.

Will the Exhibitor Packages be different?

We hope to provide enhanced packages for the new venue and dates.

Will it cost more to exhibit at IIPSEC in Earls Court?

Obviously the costs of locating the event in a prestigious central London location will be greater than in the midlands. We are hoping to negotiate preferential rates for those who had committed to the event and for those IP UserGroup Affiliates, past exhibitors and supporters. These rates will be time limited and available for the 20ten event only. We will announce the pricing structure with the floor plan in January.

Will there be special deals for accommodation?

We are currently negotiating through our accommodation agent and hope to be able to offer a varied range of accommodation shortly.

Will there still be an IP UserGroup Lounge for Affiliates?

As usual there will be special arrangements for VIPs and IP UserGroup Affiliate Members.

    What is the IP EXPO?

IP EXPO is the UK’s No.1 IP Infrastructure Event, now in its 5th year it attracts over 7,000 IT professionals across all verticals with a particular strength in public sector and finance. The definitive IP event, combining products, services, ideas and inspiration from over 140 leading IP suppliers, with a full, and free programme of 80+ educational seminars for enterprise technology teams, focused on communications applications, wireless and mobility, security, managed services and future networks.

Will visitors be able to attend BOTH events?

Yes, This unique arrangement will now allow exhibitors, delegates and visitors to both events to move freely between IP EXPO and IIPSEC, engage with one another, enhancing the overall participant experience and further increasing the knowledge base within both sectors.

The structure and educational content of IIPSEC will remain as strong as ever and the "spending quality time with quality people" ethos will continue to underpin the event.

For exhibitors, the opportunity to present and demonstrate products and services to more that 10,000 potential customers are unparalleled and with the event now located in the prestigious Earls Court Complex in the heart of LONDON, it represents a very positive development for visitors, delegates and exhibitors alike.

Why a relationship with IP EXPO?

This represents a unique opportunity for Security and Safety practitioners and IT Professionals to understand the commercial and practical possibilities available when working together and identify the true needs, skills and offerings of both industries.

We are all aware of the continued convergence between the physical security, life safety and IT worlds with the IP UserGroup and the IIPSEC team having always been at the cutting edge, so when an opportunity such as this arises we take it very seriously. We all know that for Networked Security and Safety Applications to grow and thrive it is essential that the industry learn to engage with the IT industry as a whole and the IP infrastructure players in particular and this relationship with IP EXPO will provide such a platform.

We believe that this is a significant move forward helping to increase the awareness and acceptance of new IP based applications across many market areas and I am sure that you will agree, this is an extremely exciting development. Having worked closely with the IP EXPO team over several years we have been able to identify many areas of synergy and are keen to make Earls Court in October the centre of the IP Universe.

IIPSEC's partners, Imago Communications organisers of IP EXPO are equally excited about the prospect of further growth into "Application Areas" and are committed to delivering a first class technology event.
