The 5th IP-in-Security Innovation Awards 2008
About the Awards
The “IP in Security Innovation Awards” were introduced in 2004 by the team behind IIPSEC, the IP UserGroup and IPfocus magazine - to provide a platform to recognise and celebrate the new products, services and developments of IP technology in the security industry. Following the great success of the event in the four previous years, the number of entries for 2008 has again been excellent with more than 50 - spread across the three categories, Software, Hardware & Application.
About the “Judgement Day”
Taking place at a hotel in a secret location, the judges for 2008 have a very long and busy, but enjoyable day considering the submissions for the Awards. To ensure a rounded assessment of the entries, the judges came from differing backgrounds that included consultants, technical experts, installers and end-user customers. All are independent and totally impartial for this Non-Sponsored event.
About the Presentations
As part of the Gala Dinner and Party night this years presentation will consist of certificates for the five finalists in each category and the coveted glassware for the category winners,
IP UserGroup Award and the Best of the Best overall IP-in-Security Innovation Award.
