John Inman - Training Manager, AD Group
John Inman is the Group Training Manager for AD Group and its subsidiary Dedicated Micros. He has extensive experience in the CCTV industry having spent more than 20 years in the sector and has been involved in training in various capacities for the last 17 of these. Before joining Dedicated Micros, in 2005, Julian was a consultant in the CCTV industry for 12 years, which involved, designing and delivering training courses on CCTV and industry-related technologies including networking and IP as well as the legal and regulatory obligations of CCTV deployment and operation.
Prior to becoming a consultant Julian was employed in a number of roles at Baxall, first as a Systems Design Engineer where he developed bespoke CCTV systems for projects such as nuclear reprocessing for BNFL and a Province-wide wireless CCTV system for Northern Ireland. He then became Baxall’s Technical Support Manager which involved overseeing all of the associated functions including, crucially, training – an element of the job which he particularly enjoyed.
